Swift Hill Flower Patch · Book Three

The Quest, Part Two

by Nedra M. Cobb

Ages 9–12 · Illustrated fantasy

Imprisoned. Stripped of their magic and reduced to ordinary kids again, the Travelers—relying on their captor’s underestimation—rally to find their second wind. Missing a comrade, but armed with a workable escape plan and a spark of newly discovered magic, they press forward.

Long-buried histories have been divulged. Some revelations are shocking and familial, while others are more dark and ancient—each one integral to the outcome of the Quest.

Once-solid plans, long laid and resolute, are shaken by a newly discovered lineage bond—a connection never before known. And as ancient dark magic builds and grows, it gathers support for its rise, regardless of the collateral consequences brought to bear.

The stakes have never been higher, and with a dark and ancient foe on the hunt, the Travelers must find a way to outwit their enemies and complete the Quest—the ultimate reward being their successful return within the protected barrier of Swift Hill… their precious cargo in tow.
